About the role
Description: We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Warrandyte. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Persian/Iranian restaurant and be confident in preparing traditional Persian food, particularly Persian-style rice. Key Responsibilities Preparing and cooking Persian-style rice to a consistent, high standard Assisting with preparation of Persian dishes Preparing, cutting and portioning ingredients Assisting chefs during preparation and service Managing food preparation efficiently during busy periods Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen Following food safety and hygiene procedures What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a Persian/Iranian restaurant is essential Good experience preparing and cooking Persian rice Previous commercial kitchen experience Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Reliable, punctual and hardworking Good teamwork and communication skills Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays What We Offer Competitive casual pay rates Friendly and supportive team environment Stable and ongoing work for the right candidate Opportunity to grow within our restaurant team Apply Now If you have previous experience in Persian cuisine and are confident preparing traditional Persian rice, we would love to hear from you.
